I accidentally bypassed this thread before I made my first post. So here goes...
I'm new here and I have a Quaker Parrot and soon I will have an Eclectus he is being weaned and should be ready sometime in May. I am really excited!
Kiku is my Quaker she is 10 years old and I hand fed her so she has been with me her whole life. She was thought to be a he until about 3 years ago she laid an egg, but by that time she already learned "Good Boy". So she goes around telling herself she's a good boy! My poor girl. She has become a bit of a terror, but I can deal with it we've already gone this far
My new ekkie boy who I think my husband and I have decided on calling Tobi, is going to be a very exciting addition. Kiku grew up with me and therefore won't tolerate my husband so he is excited to have a parrot he can grow, and interact with. I'll attach pictures of both of them.
