We are in Columbus GA and have a large outdoor flock. At least this time we have cages for everyone! When hurricane Irma hit we had JUST moved, bought a house, had a baby (I almost died and he did a stint in the NICU), we didn’t have any of our furniture or cages, and some friends evacuated from Savannah to stay with us with their two kids, 3 dogs, 7 cats, and 12 birds!

Yes all stay safe! I'm outside the mane path , only expected to get tropical storm force, maybe loose power...but I feel for all in the mane path! Went through this last year but not a 4 or 5!

Im in central florida so only getting a little wind and much needed rain. I hate worrying about hurricanes every year. I feel for everyone in the path, I know it's nerve wracking.

The ringnecks are NOT happy about being brought in lol.

Things are calm in my yard, but they were for Irma too and roofs in other parts of town were torn off. Earlier today I was out and about and had to go home because I was having trouble staying in my lane due to winds. At that point, we still weren’t experiencing any wind at home.

The other pets are more than chill

Gusts are up a bit but I don’t think it should get any worse; the storm is as close to us as it should get I think. I think we may have some branches down but nothing too bad. Will see in the morning.
