Hurricane

In need of some prayers before me and the flock deal with approaching Cat 4. I moved my 20 amazons to as safe a location as I could. They are above predicted storm surge but that won't help if I lose the roof. Winds ahead of Hurricane are blowing water out of the bay. Manatees are being stranded. After it passes winds will which and push the water back in. That will be the worst time. I'm in the Bradenton Palmetto area. Wish us luck tonight.

With hope the eye will come inland and weaken, and not hug just off the Western coastline that would continue to feed the storm.

FYI: At 5:00 pm (1700 hrs), the storm has been down graded to a Cat 2 storm. Still very dangerous due to its massive size and great care needs to be maintained.

I won't be allowed to get home until 3pm on Monday. But I'll be trying to get in. Have my chainsaw and wrench on my truck ready to go.I'll be first in line at the police barricade. They got extra rations at noon today so hopefully all is good.

Insurance- yes! Deductible goes up a bit during the hit!

Cops won't let me get to my house and Birds until 3pm. I've just about had enough of this big bother knows best crap. I'm about 2 miles from the house. Someone might need to come bail me out of jail.
