EDIT! It's a miracle, thank you everyone who has decided to help (NOBODY!!!) her bone (or whatever it was) decided to go back. she seems normal now, a early christmas miracle or what?!

Hello, I know 99% of all of you will say "Get your bird to the vet!!!" but I'm vacationing, on a cruise ship with my bird. Of course, i have to be in the middle of the ocean while this happens.

But I was scratching her head and then i noticed this huge lump on the right side of her upper right torso area. I'll add images wehn my phone decides to turn on.

I'm so concerned, is she in pain? Will she be okay?

Glad your Fid is ok. Sundays are kinda quiet on the forums and if someone reads and does not know what to do. They will not post. At least that's what I do . When in doubt say nothing. It's better than bad advice

Again I am glad he is ok and Enjoy your Cruise .

Might it have been just food in her crop you felt? Glad your bird is okay. And welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forums. :)

Please be patient with us and our members. It's quite possible your image-sharing link didn't work immediately. (I had to wait 5 minutes for the photos to load)

I don't see a lump anywhere. It's quite possible her crop was extended after having eaten a large meal.

In any case, glad to hear she's all right. :)

Enjoy your cruise.

So sorry you had such a scare. As Christine mentioned, it is a very busy time of year, we aren't qualified to give medical advice and most of us hesitate if we aren't sure. I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with your bird. If you are still worried, maybe it would be possible to call your vet?

I didn't really see it either.

And the crop is under the neck. If it's full, that's probably it.

Unless it's a tumor, which wouldn't go away on it's own.

So sounds like just a really full crop. Which means your bird ate good.
