I have a few tame finches, but I didn't hand raise them. They will step up, accept kisses, and eat from my hand. However, they won't fly to me....yet . I tamed them as babies.
Also, I took away their nests, but I don't plan on breeding for a while. I am thinking of letting my pairs rest for a few seasons. I would like a new parrot, and my dad says I have too many finches to get another bird. I have my eyes on a few baby yellow collared macaws . My last finch babies were two sweet little fawns, one of them loved scritched on his cheeks!
