How to cook asparagus for my bird!

hey guys! I want to give my guy asparagus because it's high in vitamin k and I've heard they usually love it. Do I have to boil it first or something or can I just give it raw?

I'm aware of the controversy about feeding birds asparagus. It's not toxic but can cause upset stomach in some birds so I'm going to give him a little bit and make sure it doesn't affect him negatively first.

Either in a steamer or put about 1/4" of water in a pan, cover it & steam/cook for about 10 minutes.....

Thanks! Can they eat it raw? Or is it better to cook it for them? Or does it depend on the bird?

My patty likes it raw, but the others prefer it cooked.....
