Today i was feeding my horse, and the flock of galahs that live around here decided to come visit me in the tree!
I thought it was so lovely of them there were about 15-20 in the flock, but only half of them came to the tree in front of me..
So i enjoyed looking at them as they all looked down at me, maybe they knew i was a bird person
Then suddenly, i saw this little grey bird! and i thought wow, its a cockatiel!
I have never seen a wild one around here before, and i thought it was strange that it was alone in the galah flock..
I looked closer and i am FAIRLY sure it wasn't a cockatiel! Its head was all a bright yellow with no red cheeks, it was the same size and grey colour of a cockatiel, but then underneath its tail, it was like a reddy pink
We also have wild parakeets, but they are very bright and colourful so i know it wasnt one of them!
I have no idea about galahs/cockatiels but i know what they look like! haha
ANY ideas what it was and why it was with them?
I looked closer at the flock and it was the only one i could see, but he/she seemed quite happy playing with the galahs in the tree!
I really wish i had a camera, it was so interesting!
