How old is this Amazon?

Someone near me is rehoming this Amazon. They say it’s six months old, but looking at the bird to me it looks older than that however, I don’t have Amazon experience. What do you guys think?

Difficult to tell from one photo but.
If the bird is a yellow nape as it appears it’s less than about 3 years old..
The yellow doesn’t show up till near puberty.

Other things to look at are .
Tail feathers. Young birds tend to have messy tails.
Nail length may give a clue about being young.
And balance/ flying ability.
Young birds balance and flying skills take time to develop.

Boby Amazons eye color is dark grey in the iris, turns into they eye color of the species when they get older. THis one appears to be +1 or so. It is extremely difficult to tell Amazon age once the adult feathers start to come in, as some get them faster , some slower.

This might be a yellow crowned Amazon. You need to look at all the yellow head feathered Amazons, look at eye color, beak color, where the yellow is and the color or absence of should flashes. Sometimes its hard to tell until they reach full maturity.
