I'm only curious, and this poll is unanimous.
How often do you take your fid(s) to the Avain Vet?

I put yearly, but there really should be an option of yearly AND when neessary.
I have 3 birds, I take 1 of them to the vet each month so I take them to the vet every 3 months. I don't do blood tests, just a $75 check-up unless they show symptoms.

WOW!! If you don't mind me asking, why do you take them every 3 months? Do you ever do blood tests at all?
I do well birdy exams every other year, too, like Birdman. This year Hunter and Sam will be prodded, probed, fecal, blood tests...the whole workup. Last year I did both Ripley and Niko. And of course whenever necessary.

That would be "anonymous"
I currently take my birds once a year. But I like the idea of every other year, especially if they are healthy. I am hoping to find a new vet, so once they see my fids, I may switch to every two years except for clipping and nail trims. Thanks for doing this thread Wendy! It's nice to see what others do.
You should also have an option for "whenever the paranoia gets too much" LOL!! That one would apply to me!
