Out of my 4, Salsa and Maynard are soup makers. Zaf and Jack are not. With Sals and Mayn I typically need to change their water 7 or 8 times daily. They just love playing in their water bowls and they dunk and mix everything possible. Sometime what used to be their water no longer resembles liquid Once they've worked it over it can become quite a concoction. Zaf and Jack's water, on the other hand, remains crystal clear all day long.
I've often wondered if the water play tendency is more of a species-specific thing than the result of individual personality. I suspect the latter, though. So I'm posting this to ask whose birds make soup, and what species are they?
