Huffle the grey Quaker parrot, poe the white & blue budgie, 2 breeding cockatiels
2 conures.
I am considering, saving up money to possibly buy a breeding pair of Indian Ringnecks for my aviary. However I have a pair of aviary conures in one side if the aviary and the ringnecks are going to go on the other side of the aviary, the conures and ringnecks will be slightly close but also separated. But considering our neighbours, is it a good idea to get a pair of ringnecks in the aviary?

I have done loads and loads of research along the 4 years about ringnecks and noise level.
But I would hopefully like to hear what owners of ringnecks think? And their view of the noise level?.

Aren't your conures loud? Some conures are well known for their ear-splitting screams.

One thing I've noticed about noise and my birds is that I keep some of my budgies in large specially designed plexiglass cages (with built in ventilation fans for air circulation) and the plexiglass reduces the noise about in half.
I don't know how your aviary is built, but if you could buyer sheets of plexiglass and attach them (drill holes and screw them on) to the outside of their aviary the noise will be significantly reduced.

My conures are very loud in the aviary and we've had a slight problem from it. We don't have ventilation fans considering the aviary is newly built, the aviary is also outside so it never really crossed our minds 😂. I will definitely consider the plexiglass though!

Thank you so much for your reply and it was very helpful!
