how far can my pineapple greencheek conure see

Today my pineapple greencheek conure skreeched out when she saw my husband's truck at the end of the driveway....about 650 ft. My dogs didn't even see him.... How far can birds see? Also, can they see at nite? This is fairly new to us so we appreciate the help.

I think birds can see pretty well. I know birds of prey and carrion birds have to see well to see their prey. I don't know how well most of them see in the dark though.
