how do you tame you budgie

trying to get a budgie so i was wondering how to tame them

Well, since you do not have one yet, try visiting a breeder or pet store and allowing one to find you. Your showing-up along the cage side and watching. Soon, one may fly or walk to where you are while the others just move away. Slowly move a bit and then stop, if the bird follows you have a bird that has an interest in you.

That provides a great starting point. Once home, continue to slow introduce with time, bring your hands slowly along side the cage and then use them to provide water and food. The goal is to develop a trust that you are safe to be around.

This will get you started.
