Well, ive had parrots for a while - but I never thought much of talking about them on the internet.

Then I started collecting chameleons ( yes chameleons - the uh... color changing lizard  ) and I became a member of the chameleon forums.. which gave me the idea to come here :)

My family has been interested in Birds for a long long time... whats not to like?

They talk
They are loyal and loving
They live a super long time

Only down side to us at the time was the pricing ( kinda hefty no? )

welll.....

One Yellow Naped Amazon, Panamanian Amazon, Goffin Cockatoo, Moluccan Cockatoo, Sun Conure ( this is just the count as of today.... we have had Tiels and canaries before too :p ) Later, I think the collection/family is pretty big no?

The Sun Conure is my best friend, personally. The Moluccan loves me like a brother. The rest of the flock... I think hates me. But my Sun Conure and Moluccan are very defensive towards me as well.... so it works out.

Who can resist saying the chubby puffed up Sun Conures with all there little whispering noises and laughs - are not just the funniest/cutest thing on the planet? :42: As you can see I am very biased :09:

Welcome to the boards! I hope you enjoy your stay.

Wow, sounds like quite the flock you have there.

They are all a handful! and its hard to give each the attention they all deserve - which is why we are trying to find the Goffin a good home, but still Each one is very very loved. Hope you like the pictures

Welcome and you take super good photos. Your flock looks very healthy. Sunnies are adorable and they know it!!

Awww,

Thanks for all the kind words everyone :)

they only look so nice because they refuse to eat anything but that expensive premium food.... little brats.

We switched them all over to a "generic" brand that had much of the same ingredients - and like clockwork they picked out all the seeds and dumped them on the floor in refusal.

Somehow - they know we were trying to save some cash, somehow!.

They are awesome though, I love em. Much more personable than my chameleons. Which by the way, for your enjoyment:

Isabella :)

Luciano - we just sold him as I have another, much friendler cham, of the same species.

Leonardo - this guy sits on my head and watches TV with me in the evenings. It makes my Sun Conure scream with jealously. lol.
