I have a light next to Bills house, its on almost all the time. I hear on here about getting him 12 hours of sleep. While he does sleep, the light is on. Should I turn it off. My house is not cold, but I think the light may give Bill a little bit oh warmth? I sometimes let him stay out at night. He climbs up top, or just perches on the cage door. He doesn't like going in at night anymore. My wife sometimes puts him in and shuts the door. She uses a long stick and Bill climbs right on and goes in real nice. Bill growls and bits at the stick when I try to put him in at night. I wouldn't try it with my hand! I do put him in the cage during the day when I'm going to be gone for awhile with the stick. I don't mind leaving him out at night, I found out that he was always allowed free roam at his last place before me?
