Black Headed Caique
My one Caique is very hormonal right now. He flys onto me and immediately bites my arm. He does have times when he is more calm, but rarely these last couple of weeks. Any suggestions?

Just ride it out, and try not to establish a negative behavior pattern. Also do the usual things to minimize hormonal activities.

No scratches anywhere but the head and neck
12 hrs sleep
no nesting materials
no dark hidey holes
minimize any sugary foods and treats, like fruit

This years mating season seems to be especially potent here in North America.
