8 years ago I took on the responsibility of an 8 year old goffin cockatoo who at the time, was completely bald from plucking her feathers out. The owner didnt want her anymore so since I had other birds, I offered to take care of her. ( not knowing a thing about owning a parrot, only the desire to help this poor bird) At the time, I had time for her and I got her to eat pellet food and bought her toys. Her feathers grew back and she seemed more relaxed and happy.
She does not talk and gets loud when she wants attention. Recently my work scheduled changed and I am not able to give her the attention that she needs and she has plucked all of her tail feathers out. I feel so badly that she is not happy. . I dont know what to do. I would give her to a REAL bird person knowing that she would get the proper care or if anyone has any suggestions on how I can keep her happy with limited one on one time I was would appreciate it. I love her but at this time im feeling like I need to let her go.

So; are you wanting to rehome her, or first try lots of different things with her first? If you're willing to try things that maybe you haven't done before, then I'm sure we can all pitch in to help. If not then maybe we can help you find her a new home that's okay with her plucking etc!

It's always hard feeling you're not doing enough for your bird, but as long as you're trying your best, none of us can fault you. Can you tell us about your current routine with your goffins?
