Just wondering, how long does it take a GW to destroy one of those LOL? I just met my very first GW.
They're so big!!! It was a rescue who was pretty aggressive and when their wasn't a human finger he took it out onhis toys. He makes my GCCs breaks look like a spoon while his is a chainsaw. Ha ha.... There was a Scarlet who plucked but she was the sweetest. Also another GW who decided I was attractive LOL.

Not long at all depending on their mood at the time. They can easily shatter just about anything in a second if they're so inclined. :11:
Put it this way, they can snap thru stainless steel tie wire I use like it's nothing if they want to, but usually they prefer to "nibble" a while before destroying them.

Kinda nice knowing that even though they can snap a wire like in the pic below that they ain't biting us like that..... :30:

@Wenz, the wife and I really enjoy building toys, not only does it save a lot of $$$ but we definitely get great satisfaction out of it ourselves. :)

Woah.... you are pretty lucky. ;) I love seeing large macaws like GW but I'm not sure i could handle one..

of all our birds, ReaRea is BY FAR the easiest bird to handle/manage (other than she's so dang big) she has the best manners of them all and is just so dang loving to us. Granted, Miri ain't as easy but it's amazing how gentle they are considering what they're capable of.

My gosh i love all the names you guys come up with! Ya I've heard Blue and gold, GW, etc were gentle giants. I'm not saying macaws are horrible or anything but I don't think I'm really ready for one. ;) considering I've just had budgies, 'tiels, and conures and only just added a Senegal. :) I absolutely love meeting them at my local bird rescue though.

LOL @ names! Actually thank the breeder, we only named one of the Zon's outright and just "modified" the names the breeder came up with. :)

Lani (Hahn's) was originally Kalani
ReaRea (or RaeRae as my wife spells it) originally Reagan
Miri was Amiri
Shiloh is the actual given name by the breeder
Halo, only one we named hoping it would make our youngest closer to him (Halo the video game)

I love all of your birds!!! I hope to get a GW someday once we have less other pets...sigh.
We have a CAG and recently lost our little Hahns to a sudden death. She was my sweetest bird EVER!!! We are now getting a male Ekkie so hopefully he'll like me. Later we want to get a Macaw to balance it all out and I'll probably get an Illiger....but would love a GW....that might be just a little too big though.

Where do you order your bird toy parts?

well mine is nothing special compared to your toys, but Sunny loves it! :orange:

you take this and put it together:

I have to ask which one of them is the drinker ? How long does it take the occupant of the white cage in the background to drink that 12 pack ? HA HA I just had to make a funny of that, I bet they love destroying the box.
