Congo African Grey: Russell Peters (R.I.P. my baby)
This baby Falcon is what greeted me when I got to work this morning. I couldn't tear myself away so I was late for work just sitting there watching him for like a half hour.

What a treat. I'm sure your boss has heard the "I'm late because I had to watch a falcon" before. lol

Is that a red tailed hawk? They are beautiful, but I always chase them out of my yard. I love my outdoor critters too much.. lol My family thinks I'm weird but I always run out there. :)

As much as I love all critters, I keep a watch out for hawks/falcons too. My dogs are both very small (smaller than the cats! lol), and I worry about them being picked up by a hawk when I take them outside.

We lots of hawks in our area. On my way to work I always see the same hawk (I assume) on a particular street light on the freeway looking for breakfast in the grassy median. Sometimes, I even see him get his breakfast. We had a hawk attack and eat a wild dove in our back yard. I love that they're beginning to thrive is some metropolitan areas.

What a treat you had. I watched a Kestrel up close and personal while visiting my daughter in Colorado. He was ambushing the little birdies at the feeder. He was blue and beautiful.

the is a passage(first year) red-tail hawk.

they really are BEAUTIFUL creatures :D i don't know if your boss has heard that excuse before but i know my old boss did LMAO!
