HMMM... So many Choices (well, 4)

okay, so as, well, 1 of you know (LOL), I'm lookin into getting Poison Dart Frogs, so I've come down to 4 choices that I like the best... I can't decide, so What do you guys think???


1. Dendrobates Tinctorius 'Azureus'

2. Dendrobates Leucomelas

3. Dendrobates Tinctorius 'Cobalt

4. Dendrobates Tinctorius 'Bakhuis' (my personal favourite, but still not sure)

I personally like the first one best. Love that blue!

They are so beautiful, but ohhh so deadly! Their colors make them look like the parrots of the frog world.

Only in the wild, they are poisonous due to the food they eat. In captivity they eat Flightless Fruitflies so they are not toxic... you could even eat them in captivity, but that would be weird...

Are you serious? That's awesome, I had no idea! What a cool pet! Funny, I've never seen them in the pet trade before. Not even at the "house of tropicals" store around me that sells all kinds of weird exotics! Wonder where you'd find them?

I love poison dart frogs! I like #1 and #4. I say get both!

I say get both!

I would, but I only have the money for 1(well 3 frogs, but 1 species/ morph) since, I can't mix the frogs, as Hybrids are HIGHLY frowned upon... (Should be kept natural, incase the species/morph goes extinct in the wild)

WOW, I had no idea they were only poisonous in the wild. They are all beautiful but 1 is my favourite, such a rich blue colour

I kinda like 2 better, but that's only because it's almost rare in canada, and I can get a good price on them...

Okay... you are now responsible for my husband's near heart attack. He came up behind Peter (my 17 year old) and me studying your potential frogs and misunderstood our argument between the merits of one and three. He thought we meant we were thinking of them as OUR potential additions. I have never heard those words in Russian before.
