So my little guy of 10 months old is very funny. How? Glad you asked. Neptune loves his bells. He loves them so much that he gets furious when they start to touch his face after aggressively playing with them. He will hang by one foot upside down, pecking at the bells and squawking. It's the silliest thing I have ever seen. He instantly stops when he realizes I see him. He'll hop to his perch and whistle happily.

Sometimes if his relentless attack of the bells continues, he'll plop down head first into his food dish and stay there for a moment. He then goes back and does it again. He'll do this 3 or 4 times until he sees us watching him. He'll come out of his cage and climb to the top and whistle.

This is the silliest bird friend I've ever known.

He has a future in comedy... maybe stand up?
When they said conures have personality, I just didn't take it literally. It's hard to be sad when you have constant entertainment.

I just have to share this
I gave Winston a piece of a toilet paper roll to play with and this is what he did with it ... by himself!

Charlie loves to hang upside down from the top of his cage and beat up on his toys. Screams at it, and is otherwise a complete goofball for his 24 years!
They must be long lost family. He was playing yesterday, lost his grip, and fell. He shook it off, went back to his cage, and hopped back in. He looked embarrassed, if a parrot can actually feel that. He's fine. He's not hurt. He was back to his playful within minutes.
