Thanks! I'm really sorry to hear about your girl. That's the one thing I fear about having female birds.Ooooooooo..... I LOVE Kakariki, I had a red-front named Katie the Kakariki. She was a very sweet bird but she wouldn't stop laying eggs and she died of egg binding....it was very sad that I lost her. I saved her so many times to help her pass but that day she give up. I would love to own another one someday. There's quite a few varieties out there these days. What type do you have? Welcome to the forum!
Lutino huh... Well I sure prefer her yellow than green! Think it's prettier that way. She's the Lutino variety. The original coloring are green with red front. They're wonderful birds!!!! Very quiet barely makes a peep. They way they squeek is so cute! They're wonderful apt birds since they're not loud birds. Pretty much same care as Cockatiels. Not much different!!!!
