Hi my name is Dustin Dickson i am 35 years old and believe it or not i got my Dusky Conure in 1996 so i have had her for 24 years and she still acts young as the first day i got her and she is very territorial when it comes to me she qill not let anyone touch or hold her except for me and she has always been this way i love her as if she were my kid.

Welcome. I got my cockatiel, Alex, when I was eleven years old as well. But I am a bit younger than you, and Mr. Alex is only 18(and a half, lol). Yay for childhood pets growing into adult best friends! I love all my birds, but Alex is very special. <3

Hello everyone im so sad to say my baby passed away yesterday &#55357;&#56866; im so heartbroken and am so scared to get another bird she was 25 years old and i was really hopeful she would pass up 30 years im trying to figure out how to post a pic of her.
