My name is Linky and I am Afrikaans, I do understand, read and write English but tenses and spelling are a problem at times - so please forgive in advance. I live on the boarder of Kruger National Park facing the Crocodile River.
I have animals that comes and go freely around my house and have a Nile Monitor and Bush Babies living in my roof. Here are photos of some of my outside friends, I hope you enjoy:
I have a God-sent rescue at my home. You must be thinking why on earth do I call it God-sent, well, it is because the animals just arrive in my garden, broken, abused, malnourished, neglected etc. I take them in, pay for all vet visits, nurture them back to super health and then place them where they belong or keep them if the problems are too big. My newest arrival is a Ringneck Parrot girl, I called her Sterretjie -(baby form of star).
I hope someone can help me with advice or even just encouragement. I'll post Sterretjie's story in the General Health Thread, thanks in advance.
