I thought folks might like to know I got a birdie with me now and his chapter started a couple of weeks ago.

Only problem is that his bill is not hooked.
And perhaps he might not be welcomed into parrot forum.

All that I do is to treat all my birdies and beasties with the respect and dignity and courtesy to fellow sentients of equal standing.

You do that, and be prepared to be taught by them as much as you want to teach them, then all that you see me doing is well within your reach too.

If only Oberon just flew off deep into the jungle and out of sight it would have been that much easier for me.
His pausing at the edge of the jungle and his turning around to look at me was so bad.
I nearly wanted to go back the next day.

But life must go on.
