Hi from California - I just joined the forum. We have two parakeets and one conure, who we just rescued from Petco. He seemed like he needed to be rescued to us so we brought him home. We also have two guinea pigs. I appreciate all the great advice and stories!

Thanks for rescuing your conure, sometimes pet store birds become withdrawn if they spend a long time in a sterile environment.

Hey PZIM, and welcome to the forum from the Big EZ, I had to laugh at the thought of rescuing 2 parakeets and a conure from a pet store, but knowing they don't really specialize in birds, I can ironically understand your point!! I bet you and your new flock are very happy to be together. By the way, we really, REALLY, like pictures here!! May I ask what kind of conure you rescued?
