Parrots
African silver grey x2
my wife and i acquired two African silver grays ("Lucky and George) and an Avery a few weeks before Christmas
acquired them from a couple who was selling up and splitting up
the grays are great company for me as i work from home now days
they have both got very different characters and will very happily chat to each other
and a great laugh to have around
pic 2 is George
pic 3 is Lucky
lucky is very close to me and sometimes looks like his regurgitating food to feed me
like a bird feeds their chicks
is this a normal thing?

Welcome to the Forums to you, Lucky and George :) Beautiful birds. I've recently been given a lovely grey as well, and he also does the regurge motion with me sometimes. He hasn't actually fed me anything yet, unlike my ekkie, lol!

i was a little worried to start i did not know why lucky was doing it
he/she also lost some plumage when they first got here
but lucky's plumage is coming back now
guess they do not like change or being moved home

lucky mimics someone with a bad cough as well
whistles the McDonald's advert
very clever i put my shoes on and grab my jacket
lucky will say see ya later
and in a womans voice say byeee
quite funny really
