Hey from MN

weco: I've tried reloading the page, clicking the link in the notification emails etc. It takes me to page 1 but when I click next or page 2 it just loads page 1 again. I don't know what to do, could I have something set wrong??

If we're lucky, one of our Super Moderators will see this & feel sorry for you (I'm positive they wouldn't feel sorry for me)...I'm at a loss from here on.....they can look at your settings, make more suggestions and/or make the necessary corrections...a couple of them are early risers (though I'm pretty sure they're not out milking at 4 or 5 in the mornings) and there is at least one late night moderator around here also.....

There is nothing wrong with anyone's computers or settings, some posts have been deleted by us mods for certain reasons, and if you personally have not received a PM from any of us then it was nothing that you've done wrong. :)

Melissa, your flock photos just melt my heart. What beautiful babies!

Thank you Allee! I have fun taking pictures of them. I'm having trouble taking a decent picture of my blue black mask lovebird baby Betsy though. With the flash on she looks green and with the flash off it's too dark.............

Have you ever written disclaimers for the government or any political party? That sure sounds like political spin ! ! !

weco, THIS IS ONLY A TEST! In case of an actual emergency...

Keep teasing us, and we'll get the idea you actually like us! I know you'd hate that.

Thanks Allee, but I had a jealous boyfriend actually try to find me one time because he actually thought his GF & I had a thing going on.....he read a couple of threads from an old yahoo bird group I was on.....this was back when I was travelling so much & I happened to be out of the country on an extended project, but started looking over my shoulder when I was told he was trying to find me.....although I have always thought living on the edge to be kind of interesting ! ! !

I love dairy farming, I was born and raised on a dairy farm and can't imagine doing anything else that I would enjoy half as much. I have the best of both worlds, able to be outside with the farm animals and being inside with my birds! :) Ahh, life is good.

Good for you, it sounds like a sweet life.

I have a small herd of dairy goats that are kept as pets and to provide milk for the house to make cheese, yogurt and ice cream.

What's that like? Is it as difficult as it sounds? It must be so nice to be able to make your own dairy products.

It isn't as easy as going to the store and buying a gallon of ice cream but it is totally worth the extra work! Home made goat milk ice cream is soooo much better that the stuff you buy in the store. Yogurt was harder for me to figure out but now I came up with a recipe that everyone likes. I even made butter out of goat milk, I make cheese for a cracker spread. I would like to try and make hard cheese but haven't gotten around to it yet. It is very satisfying to sit down to a meal and know that everything on the table is from the farm, from the milk to the meat and vegetables!

It sounds wonderful, and a lot healthier than the average diet.
