- 5 Parrots, 8 year old Blue-fronted Amazon, 2 1/2 yr. old African Grey, 2 3/4 year old Senegal. 5 month old ekkie, 5 month old Albino parakeet. Major Mitchell Cockatoo, passed away at age 68.

Distinctive and nice looking bird - if they are fairly mellow he won't be any trouble at all!
Oh I surely would like to Scott, But this past summers car accident and 2 surgeries makes it hard to convince her. She actually wanted me to trim my flock down after having back surgery which was unexpected, But I was Like NOOOOOOO!!!
It's a funny thing to, Parrots know when your not well, and offer to cuddle up and protect you. It's amazing what a parrots emotional level really consist of.
Has anyone else ever hard a major surgery and have birds be extra gentle towards you? How do they know?
