I was just thinking you'd probably be posting any minute... Adorable! Congrats on Jasper. My RB is the best bird I've ever had.

Thank you everyone! He was really good in petsmart. Stayed on my shoulder the whole time and let little kids pet him and everything! He is so perfect! He loves my husband, too! He was chatting the whole ride home :) uploadfromtaptalk1391128526180.jpg

What a very well behaved baby!!!! Hopefully he'll stay that way. I wouldn't do that with a macaw while driving though as Willie almost caused me to wreck my car going to the vet. He hates going to the vet and he knows that's where he's going and he had a total fit and started flopping and carrying on.

Aww, thank you! He totally has a Jekyll and Hyde personality though. He bit my finger this morning and drew blood! Idk if it's just because he is overwhelmed or just doesn't like me anymore. :/

I love seeing Jasper supporting the troops! LOL! Congrats, he is adorable!

No, with these birds, it was going to happen sooner rather than later. Please don't take it personally. They do have Jekyll and Hyde thing going on and is why I would never recommend them for a young child. Plus, he has to get used to you as well. I'm sure he is overwhelmed with all the new things going on in his life. But just be aware that no matter how long you have him and well behaved he is or becomes, he will still bite you or what I call a good pinch, it just will be less often and not as severe. Tiki uses this to let me know to back off and give her, her space.

Okay, thank you so much. We also figured out that he hates the color Orange. Is that normal for a bird to dislike certain colors like that?

I have had a few that hates certain color for some odd reason.....so no it's not unusual.... :)
