Hi, today i got two baby ringnecks which are 4 weeks old. so i am wondering how many times should i feed them and do i have to give water after feeding them. and till how many weeks i should hand feed them ??

Hi Fersie. :)

Have you ever hand fed baby parrots before???

Here is what you need to raise them properly:
* Digital scale
* food thermometer
* feeding syringes and/or spoons
* hand raising formula

Here are my two ringnecks. i named them sunny and Gee. sunny is very active and he can stand and walk on his feet. but Gee still can't stand or walk. hes younger than sunny. may be thats why he cant walk yet. i am wondering when will they learn to walk properly and how many weeks i have to hand feed them. i mean the formula. now they are 4 weeks old

Please be advised that most of us don't recommend people buying unweaned babies. For any breeder or shop to sell off an unweaned baby to someone who don't have the slightest idea on how many time to feed or the amount, even how long to go through the process is bothersome. All that question should of been asked before you decide to bring them home. Please do visit the link that Wendy provided above!!! Hand feed slowly if you must, do not rush as you can aspirate baby birds easily.

At that age I would advise on feeding 4 times a day, this was my time schedule when I used to breed, 6am, 12pm, 6pm, 12am, they would be ready to start climbing around in another week.
