Help needed poorly green cheek conure

Hi all

Hopefully someone can help. Im taking my bird to the vets tomorrow but im so anxious about whats happening to him. Over the last couple of days he seems to be having leg problems whereby he has an spasm in one of his legs... he seems to have trouble moving his leg at this time and cant grip with his claws. This has happened 4 times to my knowledge over past couple of days and in different legs. He obviously has trouble moving around when it happens but then it seems to go back to normal and he continues running around asking for food and attention.

Can anyone help with this? He is 14/15. I inherited him off my parents a year or so back and he is fed on seed. Ive only found out that this is not good for him......however he does have fruit and salad etc

hi i think he will be OK he might have arthritis at his age in would not be rare make some changes: move perches so its easier to climb give him vitamins and minrels and any medicine your vet gives you.

Spasmatic actions are usually indicative of some neurological involvement, but all anybody here can offer are hypothetical assumptions & suppositions, unduly worrying about it is not going to help you or your little GCC.....
