Help needed before i go insane

Heard a huge squarkfest around 7:30am this morning and when I stood on the deck I could see a delivery person taking in new screen doors and windows. Hopefully this means that the birds will be moved inside and allowed to move around but I doubt it very much. I thought the birds were stressing at a stranger in the yard as they were trying to jump around a bit. Turns out their dalmatian dog was at the cage having a go at the birds.

Not one person came from upstairs to reprimand the dog and move it away even though everybody was home. What happens when the dog knocks the cage over as its in a pretty precarious position balanced on a few rocks next to the driveway??

Update - the bird cage has been moved a few metres forward and away from the house. This means that it is in the middle of the yard next to a driveway but at least gets quite a bit of shade from a large mango tree. My husband saw the RSPCA visit and the cage was moved a few days later so they must have contacted the owner.

At least they have been putting a tarp over the birds at night so I don't get woken up in the morning but once the tarp is removed at 7am there is a bit of a squarkfest for a half hour or so but nothing as bad as when they went on holidays for the week. The poor 3 birds are still in the tiny cage though.

Still havent seen the birds taken out of their cage or even anybody go near their cage so assume the new screens upstairs were for the benefit of keeping out the summer bugs. They must at least feed them and put in water but thats the extent of human interaction that they get.

I dont understand people having pets if they are not going to interact and play with them. The same people have 2 dogs and they are never walked either. This is not some poor people living in a dive. This is a family living in a house worth over a million dollars and he is a police officer. Absolutely disgusting!!
