Please help me choose a cage for my parrotlet :) I can't decide

There is one from a friend of the family, these are the dimensions
Bird cage is 25" wide by 21" deep about 32" tall and bar spacing is 1/4 in
It includes all toys and perches for $75

And there's one from Amazon these are the dimensions $105
31-inch long, 20-1/2-inch wide and 53-inch high with 1/2-inch wire spacing

I would defiantly go with the one from amazon. There is no such thing as too big as long as the bar spacing is right! You can also look into flight cages such as [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C332AOG/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?qid=1421601005&sr=1-8&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&dpPl=1&dpID=511tArbbn4L&ref=plSrch]*Mcage* Large Wrought Iron Flight Canary Parakeet Cockatiel Lovebird Finch Sugar Glider Cage With Removable Stand #15 Black Bird Cage, 32-Inch by 19-Inch by 64-Inch:Amazon:pet Supplies[/ame]. This one is cheeper if price is a concern ($85) and the bar spacing is still good for a parrotlet. You could also look into hq flight cages which are similar but cost more.

It may be tempting to go for the smaller cage with the toys because parrotlet are so small but they do need room to fly and parrotlets are active and love lots of toys. Bigger cages means more toys and more flying room which means a happy and spoiled little parrotlet!

I would also go for the flight cage form Amazon! Lots of room to move around in there:)

Flight cage, room for lots of toys, perches, flying, and wing flapping.
