Hello everyone

I would like to get some information about Blue YNA mutation. Any information about who to talk to or where to find them will be appreciated.

I'm a new member so i have pm restrictions.

thank you

I know that member 'henpecked' has connections for this if you're serious about it. At this point you can pm any mod (names in purple) and have a pm sent to henpecked. Or he might see this, as he's on every now and then.

Thank you, that's how I came to know this form in the first place. His post was the reason I joined the forum and I hope to get sound advice from experts.
I will follow your advice , thank you

I saw some on TV once. the price that was mentioned was $25,000.
Not sure if that is true but I hope you have deep pockets.

I believe the only ones in existence are from Vorens collection, and since he passed away have been dispersed and probably very hard to get a hold of.

The information you received is near the extent available. Like a 'Blue Moon,' Blue Mutation, Yellow-Naped Amazons are very rare, and if you can find a source, very expensive. If anyone is going to know of a source, as stated, its HenPeckered.

Please be kind enough to come back after you're search completes and update us!

I saw 2 of them, in my local parrot only pet shop. They were on their way to Hong Kong, and were earmarked at $35,000 each.

Are you here in the US?

My wallet hurts just thinking about those beauties!

If Henpecked helps you locate one (and if anyone would know where to get one, he would), I think us amazon lovers on here would all be very excited to have a blue mutation YNA around on the forums! Very rare, very beautiful, would be curious about personality etc.. compared to a 'normal' YNA.

Blues are beautiful birds but they might not be the best investment of the money. I will definitely share info and photo's if I get one.

Which shop are you talking about if you dont mind me asking? Im familiar with a couple shops in nassau.

If you're in the US then I might could locate one for you. What age you want , does gender matter, does dollar amount matter ? Give your contact info to one of the Moderators so they can pass it on to me.

Answer to your questions , all things matter actually. Priority for baby female Voren's bloodline . Price information will be talked over privately .
I have sent pm to 2 admins with my contacts.

Thank you

Thats were Salty came from. He and his sister were the only Yellow SHoulder Amazon babies I could find, anywhere. Yes, he was expensive, but the pair were well socialied to people and Salty picked me. That counted for soooo much. Mark truly has parrots I'd never seen in person. We almost got a blue throated macaw, again , never saw on in person. He had 3 . Little , baby Salty sealed the deal though.
All I cn say is that when you are picked, and the love is there, you will pay any amount. Right, Salty? Daddy would have mortgaged his soul to get you. Salty says he knows "Bracck".

Thats funny, thats where Loco is from too. Salty and Loco are long lost flock brothers! I was picked as well, and even though expensive you cant say no to a bird that picks you!
