help! double dose of medication

My gray broke his leg and yesterday we went to the vet. He told us to give him 2 ml of a pain killer a day but accidentally I gave him 5 mls.This was about 30 minutes ago and he is good right now.What should I do?

call the vet and ask them what to do.

Well , actually I gave him 3 mls and the vet said it is ok because the normal dose is between 2 and 3 for his weight.How do I delete this topic?
