Yes!! Im delighted I looked this morning and here was a lovely egg staring back at me.
Please can you all tell me what i do next and what i need to get in stock for hand rearing? What formula and stuff etc.... I really need all the advice i can get!!! Im excited but nervous at the same time
Do i have to do anything with the nest at all, What do i do when i'm pulling them from the next ina few weeks? Is there anything i should know about hand feeding, should i still but in materials for the nest or are they finished building it!! Do i take note of when eggs are layed etc.... What size rings and when do they go on?
Also i want to keep an eye in the nest box for the next egg but can you tell me is every 3-4 hours too often to look in?
The hen has not been sitting on the egg today so i'm worried about that altho i did read somewhere that this is normal till the 2ND egg is layed....
Thanks everyone any advice is greatly appreciated and needed.
