Hello!

Hi, my name is Lynne, and I just brought home my new little being, a Pineapple colored GCC. We had decided on the name, "Calypso" however, now that he's home, my kids have decided that "Piccolo" is a better name. I like it, so Piccolo it is!
He's been home for about 2 hours, and is still stuck to the side of the cage. I know he'll warm up soon, but the waiting is hard.

I've had birds my entire life, but now we only have Piccolo. Our ancient Cockatiel passed away a few weeks ago. I do have chickens, ducks and quail, so I haven't been completely without feathers in my life. We are also owned by 2 dogs, Seamus and Angel, and 2 cats, Murphy and Sonny.

I look forward to learning more and more, and I'm already enjoying reading the threads!

here's my little Piccolo! I've started working on getting him to want to be taken out of his cage! He's not really bad about it after I got a good bite the first time. [emoji15] He's very sweet once he's held to my chest and feels secure. Of course he has started chattering when nobody is paying attention to him. I'm already deeply in love with him and his antics are pure entertainment!
