Hi my name is Naomi and I just day before yesterday became an adoptive Mama to a very pretty Congo Grey. He is 17 years old and his other people have had him since he hatched. The man was getting intolerant of the bird, so the woman gave him to me. This poor baby was named Uck. I have changed his name to Luck. Much nicer IMHO!
I have had several birds in the past, but this is my first as a solo parent! I am excited. I especially enjoy talking his blanket off in the morning and hearing him talk to me. Yesterday he said, "Hi Hun!" and this morning he said, "THERE you are!" What a kick in the pants to be greeted so nicely by a lovely creature!
