Hello! My name is Emily and my green cheek conures name is Pinky! I named him pinky because he has one little pink toe and the rest are black. I am from Charleston, West Virginia. He was born March 7, 2011. So he is a baby:) Totally spoiled too. Feel free to view my album to see my little Pinkyboy!

Thank you and your macaw is beautiful! Big birds scare me a little though lol. Which is why I started with a gcc!

I have smaller birds as well. 13 birds to be exact. 2 Canaries, 3 Parakeets, 4 Cockatiels, Pair of Solomon Island Eclectus, Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, and Blue and Gold Macaw. Plus 4 baby Cockatiels that's weaning soon and more babies coming soon hatching end of the month....I'm tired of being a dad handfeeding though....lol

ughh I bet! My breeder has greys, macaws, quakers, senegals and GCC. They all have babies one after another and it seems he always has his hands full. That's what he does for a living and loves it but I bet it can be very tiring. The little babies depend on you!

It's what I used to do as well many years ago. I LOVE doing it but I worry about the babies going into bad homes and worry about myself wanting to keep them. Even though at that time I was selling them all to a local pet shop, I personally had to go in there and clip their wings and nails all the time for them. And also play with them since they don't do it. I didn't hand raise them for them to go wild. So I stay busy all the time. Now I work all the time so I really have very little time to myself since I devote most of my free time to my animals.
