We are in Michigan. We just started thought between the President I We have 40 years experience.. I Have one test crested cockatoo that will go in to open flight when we have them built. Along with other abused parrots that can't or should not go into public. For their own safety.

Welcome to Parrot Forums!

Wonderful that you and your partner have started a Sanctuary in the State of Michigan. Michigan is not an easy State to operate a Sanctuary with our rapidly changing and at times dangerous Weather conditions. Combine that with the vast range in temperature defines the need for a building that can be heated to even operate.

Welcome to, IMHO, the best Parrot Forum on the Web both in North America and the World in general!

Since SOS Sanctuary LLC in located in Michigan, what are your plans and what can a fellow Michigan Resident do for you?

Welcome to ParrotForums, thanks for joining! I'm glad you are providing a home for abused parrots! They certainly deserve a safe and loving environment!

It sounds like this is a new sanctuary? We look forward to hearing more about it.

Sammy attacking wood as I work on my drawings for the day. I know when he needs a time out when he puts his wings out and pinches me.

That's the bug, on your Twitter page you have .com, not .org!

I just looked over your website and thought it looked very nice and professional. Wishing you luck in your ventures of rescuing/rehoming/providing a sanctuary for needy parrots. There is certainly a need almost everywhere for such organizations!
