Hello from TN

Hello everyone. My wife and I are bird lovers here just outside Knoxville in east Tennessee. We have owned birds for the majority of our marriage of 15 years up until our maroon belly conure died about a year ago. Scarlet was just an all around awesome bird and friend. We are both ready for a bird companion again. I came across this forum doing research and decided to join. We are looking to adopt a large macaw soon since my wife no longer works and I have a successful home based business. We are in our late 30's and are eager to find our new friend. I have been poking around this forum for awhile now and love the sense of community here.

Thank you for even more welcomes! We are really excited. We are leaning very heavily towards a baby Blue and Gold after going to visit some different Macaws yesterday. We will keep you updated. This is going to be a fun journey.
