Ruby - Female Eclectus
Hello all. I've been reading the forum for a while now, learning and researching. My patience has been rewarded as I brought my 6 month old baby girl Eclectus home last night. We named her Ruby.

We hadn't spent much time together before I brought her home, so I was a bit nervous about how quickly she'd adjust, but my worry was unnecessary. She's eating & drinking, coming out of her cage and happy to be perched on our fingers. She's doing pretty well with stepping up too. As I said good night to her this evening, she drew her foot up under her chest, ready to go to sleep. I'm overjoyed by how quickly she's become a member of the family!

I'm looking forward to becoming an active member of the forum and getting to know some of you and your fids. :red:

Congrats with Ruby!!! Show us some pictures when you get the chance!!! :)

Thanks to each of you for the warm welcome! I attached a picture of her. Let's hope that worked! LOL

@jnesbitt82, I'm in NE Ohio. Hope you're surviving all the ice that's been dealt to your area this winter!
