Hello from Red

Hi I'm a dad of a 28 + year old Red lord Amazon, Miss Red came to me about 25 years ago, I was told she was only 3 years old but the vet said she was older and maybe 5 or 6, she was in bad shape and need lots of care and love. in the first 3 years she would only bite me and scream to show me who was boss, but it did not work I never gave into her and one day she let me pick her up and from that day on its been a ball living with her, she still thinks she the boss. she loves to sit on my lap when I'm on the computer and fall asleep, she loves pop corn at night before bed and talks to me but I never know what she's saying talks to darn fast for me. oh yes she hates the camera

I was given an African Grey. It was entirely ignored for a long time by the owners. I find he will bend his head for me to scratch him then will quickly come up to bite me.
I'm going to try my best to make friends so will appreciate any suggestions.

Welcome marine930, sounds like you have job ahead of your self but in time you will have one great baby, it took me a few years to get where I could pick Miss Red up, just take your time and enjoy your baby
