Decided to join this forum since my fiancé is such a bird lover and we now have 4! I grew up with animals always in the house but never owned birds. Now I own an African Red Bellied Parrot named Paulie, 2 conures one Cinnamon Green Cheek named Skittles and a Yellow Sided Green Cheek named Holly, I also own 1 yellow Canary named Tweet I had another canary which was brown but passed away a couple weeks ago named Twitter RIP. our birds are more fond of my fiancé than they are of me. Paulie likes to get on the floor and attack my feet lol. And Skittles gets very angry at me when I play with Holly who is the only bird that seems to like me.
Well we have a zoo you could say. Other than the birds we also own, a bearded dragon named Rango, an Iberian Newt named Newtron, a betta fish named Firework, 90g aquarium with tropical fish, 40g aquarium with arowana, 2 eastern painted turtles named Caper and Parker, a white lipped mud turtle named Summer, a northern diamondback terrapin named Burger, and last but not least a pit bull mix named Cinnamon and an American bull dog pit bull mix named Chancey. Shew hope I didn't leave anyone out lol!
When I'm not tending to my zoo lol I like to spend time with my fiancé, cook, go to concerts, and volunteer at the animal shelter.
