Hello from new Meyers owner

Hello everyone! I am a new Meyers owner with many, many questions. He's 5+ years old and was just rehomed to me from very loving owners who felt he needed a different 'fit,' so to speak.

I've loved birds my entire life but have always been very hesitant to own them; I adopted a pair of parakeets from a friend two years ago and I knew I was done. I'm pretty green and am very worried that we'll never be close friends, and am generally looking for guidance.

I myself am a Junior member but one thing l have learned is to patent , u will read the more experienced members will say sit next to bird cage read out loud announce when coming & leaving the room talk softly sorry l am only repeating what others have tried , l really hope all falls into place as it is not ease having a re homed bird so good luck l am sure u will succeed .
