Hi, Parrot Forum! I got my first parakeet for my 11th birthday and have loved birds ever since. George (yellow-naped amazon) joined the family in 1989 and is still young and spry. Orville (peach-faced lovebird) is turning 18 in November, and while he doesn't fly as much as he used to, he is still such a character. Lucky (parakeet), Wilbur (peach-faced lovebird) and Homer (Nanday conure) have since passed on and are greatly missed.

I discovered the fabulousness of forums when I found myself with a rescue turtle and joined turtleforum.com - amazing resource! So I thought I would check this forum out and learn some more about my feathered friends!
