Hello from Kansas

Hello. My name is Jodi. As the title states I am from Kansas. My husband and I are the proud parents of a 14mo old boy. He is a handful to say the least!

As for my furry and feathered babies: I have a miligold Macaw and two Cockateils. Matty is the Macaw and Baby and Cookie are the teils. We also have three dogs- Bandit, Jezzy and Zoey; two cats- Wallace and Rocky. Slinky the ferret is the newest addition.

Animals are definitely my hobby, as well as decorating cakes. On top of all that, I have a full time job. Needless to say, there is not much "me" time, but I love every bit of it.

I will probably not be a "regular" on here, but do hope to partake in a few discussions and there is always room to learn more. Thank you and I look forward to learning from you.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Hopefully I can figure out how to attach a picture or two.

Matty and I have a very strong bond. My only complaint is that she seems content with only me and is very rude to everybody else. However, if I am not around she will open up to others. Then again, it is rather flattering.

Just posing. These were taken over two years ago. Not sure what the deal was with her beak then, but it looks much better now.

This was shortly after I got Baby. I got her from somebody that no longer wanted her. She has a bad feather on her wing and just didn't look healthy. She looks much better now and I will try to get some recent pics up soon.
