Just joined because I couldn't resist responding to a thread about second-hand birds. I am the proud owner of four of them myself:
Loke young male CAG
Optimus older female CAG
Rosie older female CAG
Polly senior Goffins
They all have their stories, which I'll write up and submit with photos later. I'm also mom to two human kids--11 yr old boy, 8 year old girl

Peaches--3 year old sun conure
Tiki 3 year old hand-fed lovie
James Bond hand-fed lovie
Minki hand-fed lovie (Minki is a nesting female--you know how that goes!)
Hayley and Ricki two cockatiels
Scissors and Lizard parakeets (kids chose their names
)
Kermit female yellow-sided green cheek
Stormy male hand-fed lovie
We also have one saltwater tank, one goldfish tank, one freshwater tank, one betta tank. Three crested geckos, four leopard geckos, two anoles, one bearded dragon. Two dogs.
Yes, we have a houseful. And I'm a single (divorced) mom who works full-time (though mostly at home!) Whew! Will write more and post photos later.
