Hello fellow Parrot Owners!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself and the two feathered members of my family.

Loki (lovingly referred to as Lokibird) is a young parrotlet we've had for a few months. We are still working on hand taming but he is a goofy little bird and we love watching him play!

Lyze is our newest addition, purchased last week. He (we think anyways) is a white faced cockatiel. His personality is slowly coming through as he adjusts and so far he seems quite pleasant!

Beautiful birds you have there! Congratulations! I don't mean to offend but I have to ask, is Loki just playing in the crate or is that his cage? Either way, it looks like he could get hurt, he could get stuck between the bars or cut himself on the edges of the wire mesh or get caught between the bars and the box inside the cage. I'd hate for your little guy to have an accident.

I was cleaning out his cage yesterday and letting him stretch his wings. He flew into our dog's kennel and I snapped a quick pic before luring him out on a perch.

I've heard wonderful things about parrotlets, I've never had the opportunity to spend much time around them but I bet they are fun family members. Lyze and Loki have very pretty coloring.

He definitely has the personality of a huge parrot in a tiny package.

Hi and welcome I love your parrotlet Loki hes so cute and your Cockatiel Lyze is Adorable. A friend of mine has partotlets and they think they are bigger than the largest partots on earth and have an attitude to match...great little characters...your Cockatiel is Adorable and looks like a real character too <3
